Mini PC lovers around the world feel a little let down after Apple’s keynote yesterday, January 6th.

Despite the hopeful hearts of many, and continuous rumors of a new Mac Mini, Phil Schiller failed to present one at this year’s MacWorld Expo. A grave disappointment for Mini lovers, and especially Mac Mini lovers.

Does this all mean that the rumors were completely false? There were some reports of an anonymous inside source from Apple, but were these “documented” cases complete fabrications? There’s really no telling at this point, with no acknowledgment of the mini at the expo. This could all simply mean that it is simply not ready for the world yet. Perhaps keeping this a secret from the media at this point is a good PR stunt, to get more attention later with a release. Either way, we hope the Mac Mini hasn’t met its mini-demise.
